WHAT I DO
I offer translation and proofreading services for the language combinations English-Spanish and Spanish-English.
I take pride in delivering the highest-quality translations within the set deadline. I consider communication, accuracy, and consistency as the guiding principles of my work.
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Argentina, where I obtained a degree in Literary Translation from the Universidad del Museo Social Argentino, and a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge.
PROUD MEMBER OF
Since 2009 I am a permanent resident of the United States. I lived in Wisconsin for almost 9 years, where I served as board member of the Midwest Association of Translators and Interpreters. I currently reside in Los Angeles, California.
I have been working as a freelance translator for many years. I am proficient in the use of many different CAT tools including Trados Studio 2017, memoQ, Wordfast, and SDLX. I also have more than 20 specialized dictionaries and more than a hundred glossaries in all areas.
I am an active certified member of the American Translators Association, and I have attended all their conferences since 2013.
For large projects or tight deadlines, I also work together with a team of translators and reviewers, all working under my direct supervision to assure excellent quality.

PODCAST
Together with a translator colleague I host a podcast about translation called “En Pantuflas”. The podcast goal is to give voice and value to the translation profession. In each episode, we discuss a different theme and reflect upon various translation-related topics of interest. We also interview successful translators regarding what they do and useful tips for professional development. Most importantly, though, the podcast aims to entertain and allow translators to have fun and laugh about ourselves and our profession.
